Miniature Lands

In a way it was inevitable that the small up close and personal work I do would lead me into the world of macro. It was exciting to be able to get closer to the subjects that fascinated me and find that some were completely different to what I cold see with my own eyes. Small details of skin, textures and hairs suddenly popped out as if they had so obviously been there all along like.

It fascinated me to think that with the use of a macro lens I could for a short time be apart of this tiny wondrously beautiful world that the minuscule experience everyday.
It is every time, with great regret that I have to leave it.
